Team Jesus Outdoors first began with a simple thought in Jeff Morris' mind. He wanted to find a way to help others and serve God because God had blessed him in so many ways.  Like most people, he struggled with finding a place of service that suited him best. As he sat alone early one morning on a whitetail hunt in south Alabama, he heard God's still, quiet voice urging him to make a difference. He was excited about the difference that could be made when people came together and combined their love of hunting and fishing with the definite need to help feed the hungry in our area.

He chose the name Team Jesus Outdoors in 2001 and slowly began his ministry. He simply started putting his logo on clothing and hats and saw quickly the interest it sparked in others. It was then that he realized that God was at work because of the way that he was able to share his faith and love of Christ with others. Jeff was very privileged to have a dad that taught him about fishing, hunting and other outdoors sports and he feels very strongly about including this in his ministry. How incredible it would be to help young boys and girls learn to enjoy the outdoors and share God's love at the same time through the outdoor activities that he loves so much.
